Social Firms exist to provide good, sustainable employment for people who experience significant barriers to employment. Through our initiatives over the last 25 years, Yes2Ventures has seen the importance and impact of employment in a Social Firm for people who want to work but have never been given the chance.
Supported by Opportunity Sheffield, Yes2Ventures is taking the lead in growing the breadth and quality of employment opportunities for people in Sheffield with learning difficulties and disabilities, neurodiversity and/or autism.
We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and compassionate person to work with me to develop the organisation. The role will be to lead on all our comms, social media and events. This could be a for drop in for people keen to work, or a conference for employment specialists and social firms. You will be asked to develop a brand and media kit, plan and manage all our websites and socials as well as support all administration for the organisation. As it is a new role, there is a chance to develop work areas from the start. We are looking for someone who doesn’t mind every day being different, can prioritise multiple demands and be calm whilst doing so.
22.5 hours per work (0.6FTE)
Pro rata salary £16,000 (£26,667 FTE).
25 days annual leave (pro-rated for part-time staff) plus additional discretionary leave between Christmas and New Year.
Permanent role. Subject to funding.
Your principal workplace will be our registered office in Sheffield, currently in Percy Street in Neepsend, with an expectation that you will work flexibly to ensure you are visible and supportive to colleagues and stakeholders across the city. This may include working remotely from time to time by agreement.
